TACADA Marketing Consultants, LLC, a Decatur, Georgia based training and personal development firm, was organized October 1, 1998 and incorporated as a Limited Liability Company (LLC), December 29, 1998. It?s mission, ?To provide meaningful training at an affordable cost, with emphasis on enhancing career opportunities.? TACADA Marketing started with a basic vision of assisting federal and military employees in using skills-based interviewing techniques to further enhance career opportunities; to properly prepare for the interview; to gather information about the position; to answer interview questions, and much more. It?s President, Calvin Stevens, Sr., saw a pressing need to provide training to federal and military employees lacking the basic interviewing skills. Mr. Stevens having served as Manager for various Divisions within U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), developed a simple, but effective two-hour workshop on how to go through the interview process. This workshop, ?Interviews Skills for the 21 st Century?, was a big success! As a result of this successful workshop, Mr. Stevens developed other career enhancement workshops, which included: (1.) Implementing Your Individual Development Plan (IDP), (2.) Who Called This Meeting Anyway? (How to effectively conduct meetings), (3.) Resume Writing and (4.) Beating Workplace Stress.
